Faithful Bearer of Light

As you all know, diabetes is hard.  It's hard on us and it's hard on our kids.

Our Pastor was speaking about Mongolia today.  It is estimated that only 1 in every 30,000 people know the Lord. That's just amazing to me!

For those of you that are Christians, think of how many people you can reach out to about the Lord because of diabetes.  It could be the school nurse, the people that ask questions when you're out and about, or even the people that give dirty looks.  You can share how the Lord has worked in your lives with this challenging disease.  Give the Glory to the One that pulls us through each and every time our kids go low or when they're throwing up because of ketones.  We have a loving Father that guides and comforts us through the ups and downs with diabetes.  He will ALWAYS be there for us and we can find refuge in Him.

You never know when someone from across the world or down the street might come across your blogs.

Will you be the salt and the light?

Matthew 5:13

New International Version (NIV)
Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

  1. Beautiful post and a great reminder. You never know how you can reach out to someone and we need to be looking for those opportunities. Thank you for the reminder! : )
