Have you ever had a person touch your life in a special way?
Once we arrived in Florida, we were on an adventure to find a Chick-fil-a since most of them offer gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and french fries. You must check with them first because not all of them have a designated gluten free fryer.
We stopped in a parking lot to ask for directions. A kind lady gave us directions and told us to wait a minute so she could locate some coupons from her purse. When she arrived back at the van window with coupons in hand, she replied, "Do you know Jesus?". "YES WE DO!", we replied excitedly.
She then proceeded to ask if we had any prayer requests. I asked her to keep us in her prayers so that God would keep us safe in our travels. This woman placed her hand on our van, bowed her head, closed her eyes and proceeded to pray for our family and our safety right there in the middle of the parking lot. It was the most special thing I have ever encountered.
Mark 8:38 "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes."
I thank God for that woman because she was a beautiful light and example of how Christians should be - not ashamed of God or his Word. I pray that God will bless her and continue to work through her. I can say that she definitely taught me a beautiful lesson that day! Praise God!
